Do I understand it correctly that if Shadow Defender's Shadow Mode is not active it does work correctly?

From the description of Shadow Mode it looks like it may prevent some things to be done correctly.

The issue starts sometimes after exit Shadow Mode (No notifications about all the Network protection are off)

Looks like no diagnostic logs were created

    C:\ProgramData\ESET\ESET Security\Diagnostics\

    2020-10-29 14:28  <DIR>           ECP
             0 files               0 bytes

Therefore I assume that you skipped the initial steps:
    - enable advanced logging under Help and support -> Details for tech support
    - reboot the machine
    - disable logging

Sorry, I will try again later today

Did you exclude Eset files from ShadowDefender? Looks like that might be the issue: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/nod32-shadow-defender-how-set-exclusion-list.322742/

No, I have not exclude anything, Long time ESET and Shadow Defender user and I never had an issue like this.

After excluding Eset files I will post again to let you know If the Network protection do not turn off again

    Thanks

Open Eset GUI -> Setup -> Advanced Setup.

Select User Interface -> Statuses -> Application statuses -> Edit.  Mouse click on "+" for Network Protection. Are all statuses in that section enabled per below screen shot?

    Here are my settings:

    EIS.jpg.9f22f3d6bac4e737e295331025c50703.jpg

I hope the latest version resolve the issue.

Update: I haven't had any problem with the latest version yet but with the previous version the problem may be when exiting Shadow Mode and run PrivaZer

If I Block all network traffic, pause firewall or pause protection, I get the notifications

I will keep posting if the Network protection notifications does not appear, just to let you know and I will follow the instructions @Marcos provide me in this topic

    Thanks

Correct. The rules are not duplicate since the path to the application is different.

    Are this services duplicates?

Five rules of DoSvc, all same path:  C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe

    • Allow communication for svchost.exe/DoSvc
    • Allow communication for svchost.exe/DoSvc (1)
    • Allow communication for svchost.exe/DoSvc (2)
    • Allow communication for svchost.exe/DoSvc (3)
    • Allow communication for svchost.exe/DoSvc (4)
    • Allow communication for svchost.exe/DoSvc (5)

    Thanks

  5. Hello,

I have a lot of duplicated rules, can I deleted them and keep the latest rules created Or is better do nothing with them?

I will love to delete the dups, but I am not going to move a finger before I have an advice for the experts here in this forum.

    Thanks

    Camelia

For example I have 6 rules of WinStore.App.exe

    WinStore.App.exe
    WinStore.App.exe(2)
    WinStore.App.exe(3)
    WinStore.App.exe(4)
    WinStore.App.exe(5)
    WinStore.App.exe(6)

  6. Hello,

After installing EIS latest I got this notification:

    01EsetFirewall.jpg.85dce4641950a475d68f04ed774fc4b9.jpg

    Eset Security is turned off
If I click on Turn on, nothing happens:

    02EsetFirewall.jpg.b2dad61e50d6c14260a58dfa2a10e0ad.jpg

If I Turn off WD Firewall, Windows is not happy

    03EsetFirewall.jpg.047fc9839b83dfaf45c286dd28f8b5df.jpg

BTW I do not want Windows Defender Firewall and EIS Firewall On at the same time

In short EIS Firewall does not want to turn ON and I do not want Windows Defender Firewall ON

    What is the problem?

Windows 10 latest, EIS latest, FF latest, MBAM latest

    Thanks

The security report referenced is the aggregate event status one that shows ever 30 days.

When you have questions about Eset settings, always click on the "?" on the GUI page. This will open Eset on-line product help which will show detailed explanations for the settings: https://help.eset.com/eis/12/en-US/idh_config_ui_notifications.html

Thanks @itman I will download the PDF is easier for me as reference
