My best guess is I do not believe the fact that it's a trial version would impact your use.
But take a look at the bottom of this page https://help.eset.com/essp/12/en-US/which_product_do_i_have.html
A Forum Moderator would have to respond if that feature is available in your region (as I could be misunderstanding that page, plus it is a USA page).
I should also add I use EIS and not ESSP. I use a different PW Manager which works with ESET BPP.

Same issue. Of course missed scans will never appear in the log file. Scans that run at the wrong time, shall appear though, but since the beginning of April that is no longer the case.
Whatever...

For me the problem appeared a few days earlier. I reported it here.
Not the same issue....my scans are running.
-
It started after 5.4.19. That's when the scheduled scans started not appearing in the log file. Then EIS logged OK on the 9th and then stopped again. I did not cancel any scans midway. I run a scheduled in-depth daily scan. When a scan completes, I can open the scan file (in the just completed scan window) and see the results. It also shows in the scheduler as the "last time run". I have screen shots to document all of this.
As I said, if I run a "smart scan" ("scan your computer"), that does show in the scan log.
It's quite perplexing. I have not deleted and re-established my daily scan in scheduler as of yet.
But, I guess that is what's next.
It's a small potato, but I'd just thought I'd ask first.
Regards,
Tom

5.15.19 Update: I've deleted and re-established the scheduled scan, so we'll see what happens going forward.

I have never had any luck using FF with BPP. Plus, it does not play well with my VPN or PW Mgr.
As of late FF, is full of issues.
So I don't use it.

I've run into a situation in the past week where EIS scheduled scans are NOT being logged when I try to view them in the Log menu. They are showing as completed in the scan window and in the scheduler window, but not in the log file. Manual Smart Scans are showing, but not scheduled scan. I have several examples to document this. It's a Win7 x64 machine with all updates current.
Any ideas?

It looks to be OK now...it did phase out earlier but then came back.

I will make the general statement. FireFox is so screwed up presently, I just wouldn't use it for anything.
I can appreciate that!
My issue appears to be self-inflicted...I enabled Encryption the other day in HTTPS Everywhere in FF. That looks to be the problem.
I normally use IE11 with BPP and my PW Mgr as they all work well together.
I've always had an issue w/FF working with my PW Mgr & BPP (and certificates). I must be special.
It appears my issue is resolved.
Sorry for the bother

This just started today, any of my BPP websites are being redirected to the ESET page. https://help.eset.com/eis/12/en-US/how_resolve_bp_browser_error.html
I know they (Mozilla) have been fooling around with FF this week as earlier in the week my FF extensions stopped working between FF updates.
They (BPP sites) seem to be working OK in IE11. I followed the direction at the KB BPP page (see above) and previously (for another issue) did the disable SSL/TSL... reboot ...and re-enabled SSL/TSL.
I'm using Win 7x64, EIS and a VPN.
Forgive me if this a dup post.

Tom

I do believe the same issue has returned as I see no registered users (except myself) or any guests.
After I logged out, I see...

P.S. ... A picture is worth a thousand words, you may want to review this KB on screenshots. https://support.eset.com/kb2727/
Screenshots are very helpful in showing others what issue you may be dealing with.

Anything out of the ordinary...just calm down and be aware.
I am blessed with OCD, so I understand where you are coming from.

Assuming everything comes back clean, I would still watch (for a while) for any weird behavior that is not normal to your machine. Just to be sure.
It's probably not a bad idea to set up a scheduled scan (if you haven't already done so). How often is up to you.
-
I'd suggest doing an ESET In-depth scan (custom scan, select all items, scan as administrator). See what you get. Then, if you wish to do so, find a 2nd opinion on-demand scanner (there are several to choose from) to double check. Only use 1 real/full time A/V program and only perform 1 scan at a time. As itman said:

Just out of curiosity, I connected my VPN to a server in Israel and then went to https://www.speedtest.net/. It was slower to connect and download, but I did NOT get any warning from ESET. What I did get was...
I do run ABP on my IE11, so I did not pursue it any further. But again, I got no warning from ESET. I normally connect to a VPN server in the USA and do NOT get this AD Blocker error.

It’s the first website that you find when you search speed test speedtest.net the one powered by ookla
If this is the one you used, I just tried it with and without my VPN (both with IE11) and had no issues at all.

ESET was just doing its job...so blocked is a good thing.

Yes there are some very smart folks on this Forum. Everyone brings something different to the table.
I try to learn something new every time I visit (from folks like Marcos, Aryeh, foneil, itman, TomasP, SCR, cyberhash, Peter...among others).

What was the explanation in the warning popup? Was it a certificate error warning? I have gotten those in the past when trying to play certain YouTube videos.

Appears /private/var/vm is used as some type of virtual memory swap disk on MacIntosh's:

Remember that Google search is "your best friend" on questions like this.

I do not trust Google with anything.

Nor did I see any reference to ESET in the OP. Having never heard of Quick Heal Total Security (and me not being a mind reader), I was hoping the OP would share relevant information that was not included initially.
Maybe the "Please read this before you post" on the main ESET Forum page needs to be in a bigger font and in RED.
Just a thought.
