I made not the November 2019 Windows 10 update, yet. I wait and see if any problems happen with the November 2019 Windows 10 update. Is a "Phantom account" the Windows 10 guest account?

I don't got the new update EIS 13.0.22 yet. Even I click in the update section right down in the corner on search for updates. I'm still on EIS 12.2.31.0 Can it be that it takes a week that everybody get this version? I don't want to download and make a fresh install.

Hey Pete12, I found out when you open the EIS client, and than go to updates, right down in the corner, when you click this button to update, than will be the new build installed. When a new build was released, than my client did only install new AV-updates. But when I hit the update button, the new build will be ready for install. @itman thanks for the infos....

Hello, I got today the update 12.2.30.0 and I'm on regular updates. The new version was released today? I wonder, because you don't have a new thread for the EIS 12.2.30.0 update. I'am very satisfied with EIS. This is now my second year using this AV.

Would be nice to know if this is a normal behavior, what I described above, or if I am alone with it. It would also be helpful to know if your router is with full brand name displayed? A simple: "Yes, my router is with full brand name displayed." or a "No, only the first name of the router company is displayed." Would be helpful.

Does anyone have the same? Or does your router have the full brand name in the secure home network of EIS?

In EIS in the secure home network scan, it is no longer the exact brand name of the router, but simply the first name of the routers company and nothing else. Before, the exact brand name of the router was always there. Has anything changed in this regard? When I check in Windows 10 the home network, than there is the full exact brand name of the router.

I don't know what the best is for me or if this has any effect on me. I even don't know if this is dangerous or not. I did read the entire thread.

I have also incorrect ethernet packets. Starting day is the 10.04.2019 than everyday till now, like 4 to 6 entries. It is always the same source. Do we have to be worried? How should we handle this?

@deanpepler Is your Windows 10 activated? Click left down on the Windows symbol, click on the gear wheel for Settings, than click on Update & Security, click left on the list on "Activation". Look if your Windows 10 is activated. This is only a idea, because if your Windows 10 is not activated, you can not download the latest Windows 10 updates.

Rebooting the system did help. But is it normal that the "ESET Online payment protection frame" task is still running in the taskmanager, when I did end the BPP (close the Firefox window where BPP was running)?

That's unacceptable, the ongoing problems with ESET EIS secure banking. I have the same problem as dbergst. I did look into the Taskmanager, there is the "ESET Online payment protection frame" running even I did close, cancel the secure banking. I can not end this task. I reboot now and look if this help.

I have also this new B&PP screen in EIS. I agree with itman, it would be good if Eset post an announcement when a change to GUI related components are made.

I deinstalled EIS, than I installed the latest EIS. Now it works again. I don't know what was wrong, thanks for the help.

Firefox Quantum is installed on my PC, also EIS. I made all you said and the ESET certificate looks properly installed. The certificate has the serial number and SHA-256-Fingerprint, SHA1-Fingerprint.... looks all good. Common Name: ESET SSL Filter CA Organization: ESET, spol. s r. O. validity period: Starts with: Friday, March 15, 2019 Valid until: Monday, March 12, 2029 My wife is on the same router with her PC and use Windows 10 Home 64-bit with EIS installed, same Firefox Quantum and for her it works. I don't know what is wrong here for me, maybe the certificate is some kind broken? Any other thing I could try?

Hello, I use the latest Mozilla Firefox Quantum 65.0.2 (64-Bit) browser on Windows 10 Pro (64-Bit) and with the latest EIS 12.1.31.0 currently the secure online banking do not work. I get this error message from Mozilla Firefox: "Error: Secure connection failed Connecting to bpp.eset.com failed. The certificate of the remote station has an invalid signature. Error code: SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE The website can not be displayed because the authenticity of the data received could not be verified. Please contact the owner of the website to inform him of this issue." The URL for secure online banking from EIS is: https://bpp.eset.com/de-DE/Home Maybe this url is some kind blacklisted from Mozilla currently? Any ideas?

Hello, I did upgrade from the latest build of EIS to 12.0.27.0 with the update function from EIS, do I have now also the new UI of EIS 2019 or must I download EIS 2019 manually? I can not see any visible changes to the UI. So I don't know if I use EIS 2018 UI with the EIS 2019 engine!?

You say that the cleaning is not possible as it resides in the UEFI. So your UEFI scanner can only detect this new virus but not remove it. You think, that you find a way to clean this virus or other future virus that use the same technic? Maybe find a way with ESET SysRescue Live?

To choose a second UI in black or dark grey should be easy to make. Make the white to black or dark grey and the text greenish. Maybe you think about it. The idea is not bad & it would not hurt anybody when you have the standard UI and a second dark UI.

@doctorWho Check if you have in your Task Scheduler a On-demand scanning, that check the files and folders on your computer. Otherwise do what TomFace said.
