boesdad 0
Banking protection does not work from the Firefox 64 bit browser. It does not open the secured browser. Running it from the GUI or from the banking and protection button does not bring up the secured browser either. The only way it will work using the GUI or the button is to have firefox open. I am running Firefox V 49.0.2, & Windows 8. No other security software installed and I've tried reinstalling Eset twice. Administrators Marcos 4,704 Posted October 31, 2016 Administrators Share Posted October 31, 2016 What version of Firefox and what OS and ESET's product/version do you use? Isn't the version of Firefox that you use portable? Have you tried reinstalling it? Do you have another security software installed besides ESET? boesdad 0
I am running Firefox V 49.0.2 (not portable), & Windows 8. No other security software installed and I've tried reinstalling Eset twice. After posting last night, I played around and discovered if I remove firefox from being the default browser, the GUI and the button would launch the secured browser. I added 3 websites to the secured browser toolbar and everything was working okay, HOWEVER, this morning when I launched the secured browser from either the GUI or button, It brought up the secured browser but without the secured browser toolbar. It also showed the Menu toolbar from firefox and also missing was the verbiage about the secured browser. Put firefox back as default. Now everything works as long as I have firefox opened.
