Don't know how many of you have noticed, that even when using the windows 10 upgrade option. It replaces all your old chipset drivers with *generic* microsoft ones.

You can check by going to control panel > device manager > system devices , and looking at the drivers (version and author).

Going to your motherboard manufacturers website and downloading new windows 10 compatible chipset drivers might cure any problems you are having installing ESS/EAV.    :)
