Sever 2008 freezes

I just installed ESET file system protection on a Win 2008 R2 server via Remote Desktop. A few minutes later the server froze. I am try to avoid a 5 hour drive out to my client's business place.. Any suggestions on a quick fix for this would be greatly appreciated.

Did you install EFSW v6 on the server? If so, does the server have the following hotfix installed? hxxp://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN2567
