Guest neil purnell
My antivirus insists on deleting files off my flashdrive every time I put it into my laptop. the files are being recognised as worms and have the extension .scr (according to the antivirus. These are folders containing lessons that I prepare for my students. Luckily I have copies on my laptop (the same one that is deleting the files). Why are the complete folders quarantined. Also is autorun always gerts quarantined but is it always dangerous. I thank you in advance for any replies. Cheers
Administrators Marcos 4,908 Posted June 28, 2013 Administrators Share Posted June 28, 2013 Most likely they are malicious executables with a folder icon and the name of the original files while the original files are hidden. Try to view the flashdrive content with the display of hidden and system files enabled.
