I click on eset but it wont launch have tried uninstall and reinstall but still nothing

If you attempt to download eicar test file from hxxp://www.eicar.org/download/eicar.comdo you get an alert? In such case, you're fully protected and it's just some issue with gui not opening after double-clicking the icon. Are you unable to open gui even by running it from the Start menu?
