Nod32 version 9 activation

Hello,

I have a very old vista machine running nod32 version 9. I recently renewed but can't sctivate it. Is eset no longer allowing activation of old products like this?

Windows Vista is not supported any more. Please upgrade to Windows 10 or WIndows 11 and install the latest version 17.1.13.

I know its not supported. I just want to know if that means that means i can even reach the activation servers to keep it from expiring anymore.

The exact reason doesn't matter. Even if there were no certificate issues and ekrn would run, EOL versions are unsupported and do not receive module updates.
