ESSPUSR 2
I have the ESET Smart Security Premium license/version installed on Windows. When the license expires and I buy the new ESET Home Security Premium license/version. Can I just activate/renew it with the ESET Home Security Premium license/version? Does both software have any differences and should I download ESET Home Security Premium and do fresh install or just renew my current install with ESET Home Security Premium license? Administrators Marcos 5,273 Posted May 29 Administrators Share Posted May 29 Yes, ESET Home Security Premium is a subscription / plan that entitles you to install all ESET products for home users except ESET Security Ultimate.

I know but is there a difference between ESSP and EHSP when it comes to the software? Are there different software versions for ESSP and EHSP or can you just renew the ESSP plan to EHSP for the already installed ESSP software? You dont need any special software version for EHSP? You just need to enter the EHSP license to the already installed software that is ESSP version?
Administrators Solution Marcos 5,273 Posted June 2 Administrators Solution Share Posted June 2 There is no difference in what ESET software you are entitled to download. It was merely a move from a license to subscription system, hence the new subscription / plan name. ESSPUSR
