Rick7 0
Hi all, Does the ESET Inspect solution also collect firewall logs? Apparently there is such a possibility - where can I read about it?
Administrators Marcos 5,234 Posted May 15 Administrators Share Posted May 15 ESET Inspect does not collect any logs from endpoints. However, it can trigger a rule based on an Endpoint detection: DetectionType String Detection type Possible values are: •UnknownAlarm •RuleActivated •MalwareFoundOnDisk •MalwareFoundInMemory •ExploitDetected •FirewallDetection •HipsDetection •BlockedAddress •CryptoBlockerDetection
Rick7 0
FirewallDetection - whether it integrates with UTM solutions or only applies to the system firewall. Unless only the firewall from ESET? Logs collect the connector?
Administrators Marcos 5,234 Posted May 17 Administrators Share Posted May 17 EI uses information provided by ESET security products on endpoints or servers, ie. FirewallDetection can specify a detection that comes from the ESET firewall and is also logged in the ESET network protection log.
