Tarun Preetham 0
Recently, we've encountered a challenge where users are attempting to uninstall Protect and Inspect from their workstations. While we have a password policy in place for uninstalling ESET Protect, we're facing difficulties implementing a similar password requirement for admins to make changes (Edit/Delete) to ESET Inspect on end users' workstations. Additionally, we've observed that currently, ESET Inspect is removable without a password. Can you look into what we can possibly do, perhaps from a Windows OS perspective, to address this issue? Furthermore, if the solution isn`t there, what`s the possibility of including this feature in future releases of ESET Protect and Inspect. Share your experiences, tips, and suggestions on how to effectively manage admin access and password policies for ESET Inspect in this forum thread. Administrators Solution Marcos 5,097 Posted April 17 Administrators Solution Share Posted April 17 Password protection is planned to be implemented in one of the future versions of ESET Inspect. Self-defense protects ESET Inspect files from tampering.
