old man 1
After the latest update of eset smart security, my Chrome browser automatically started writing the 7777777 (endless) in the search box Why didn't the Eset stop it? now what do I have to do? Administrators Solution Marcos 5,274 Posted January 10 Administrators Solution Share Posted January 10 Is it ransomware that actually encrypted files on your disk or maybe some joke program or extension that is automatically typing characters? Or maybe just some software or hardware issue that is causing it. Does it happen if you run Chrome with the "--disable-extensions" parameter? Or with other browsers or applications? Also in safe mode? Please post logs collected with ESET Log Collector for a check.
