Using eset protect advanced endpoint clients on macbook with mac os and parallels desktop with windows os

Hello, the simple question is, what is best practise ? Should we install client on maco os and also on virtual windows in parallels desktop in same Macbook ?

It depends on whether you want to protect the host or guest machine. If both, ESET must be installed on both the host and guest which will consume 2 license units.
