Telegram app detected as a malware "Android/Clipper.AY"

Hello today telegram app was detected as trojan, maybe it's a false positive like happened fee months ago (April)?

Hello, we had the same Problem and notification on 2 Android Smartphones today via ESET Security. We deleted the Telegram, just in case. We would also like to know if it was a false alarm and if it is safe to reinstall Telegram or not. Thank you in advance.

Same behavior here, TG reported malware with Android/Clipper.AY. I just currently uninstall TG in case that it is real this time, but personally I think it is a FP again.

It was a false positive which has been already fixed. If still detected, run update manually please.

The paid version updates automatically. To update the freemium version, tap Antivirus -> Update.
