Ali Akkawi 0
I have ESET server 9.0.12013.0 installed on a Windows server 2022 datacenter azure edition. It addressed on a specific day some generated PDF files as trojan. Many of these files were created before and after without problem. How can we explain this issue? Administrators Marcos 5,090 Posted July 21, 2023 Administrators Share Posted July 21, 2023 If the pdf files are still detected, please submit a couple of them to samples[at]eset.com.
Ali Akkawi 0
These files are autogenerated reports and still created without any problem. The problem was identified in a specific day for some files. Now I don't have any problem but I need to analyze what causes such issue.
Administrators Solution Marcos 5,090 Posted July 21, 2023 Administrators Solution Share Posted July 21, 2023 Most likely it was FP that was fixed, otherwise the files would be still detected.
Ali Akkawi 0
Did you mean it was a faulty detection by ESET and the files were clean?

We would need to get such PDF for a check in order to tell.

I think since the reports are generated successfully without any indication of infection, it was a FP as you mentioned above. thank you.
