I have ESET server 9.0.12013.0 installed on a Windows server 2022 datacenter azure edition. It addressed on a specific day some generated PDF files as trojan. Many of these files were created before and after without problem. How can we explain this issue?

If the pdf files are still detected, please submit a couple of them to samples[at]eset.com.

These files are autogenerated reports and still created without any problem. The problem was identified in a specific day for some files. Now I don't have any problem but I need to analyze what causes such issue.

Most likely it was FP that was fixed, otherwise the files would be still detected.

Did you mean it was a faulty detection by ESET and the files were clean?

We would need to get such PDF for a check in order to tell.

I think since the reports are generated successfully without any indication of infection, it was a FP as you mentioned above.

thank you.
