McAfee Stinger download blocked

Today I tried to download the latest version of McAfee Stinger (version 11.0.0.344)

but it was blocked by NOD32 giving this message:

 

hxxp://downloadcenter.mcafee.com/products/mcafee-avert/Stinger/stinger32.exe probably unknown NewHeur_PE virus connection terminated - quarantined Threat was detected upon access to web by the application: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe.

 

What is going on? Surely a false alarm.

It seems to be a brand new version released in the last few hours. We'll check it out and whitelist it.

Issue appears to be addressed in virus signature database 8446+.  Can you please confirm you are no longer receiving the report of the NewHeur_PE virus?
