blamowamo 0
So just this morning my emails got breached, and it seems like it came from my computer, so I took an antivirus software (eset) to it and it cleaned out 3 trojans. I also cleaned and updated my emails (new password, 2fa, etc). but now on my computer itll randomly show a message that says "windows cannot find 'c:\tmp\obs64.scr'. make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." and when opening chrome, it shows a message saying something like "failed to load extension" and then mentions something to do with background.js. anybody know what these are, if they are dangerous, and how to deal with them? Administrators Marcos 5,273 Posted February 10, 2023 Administrators Share Posted February 10, 2023 Please provide logs collected with ESET Log Collector for a start. As for the emails you've received, they were likely spoofed, ie. sent out from another machine with other than the actual sender's email address. Regarding the failing extension, if you have installed some browser extensions try removing them and installing them again.
