fatman45 0 Posted October 6, 2022 Share Posted October 6, 2022 Per instructions from support, I uninstalled ESET Internet Security from my laptop and I am trying to reinstall it. But the installer won't let me choose the existing device name. I don't want to create a new device name; I want the one I've been using. How do I accomplish this? Thank you for the quick reply. I'm assuming by that you mean I should login to my ESET Home account before reaching the screen that asks me to type in a device name? If so, that's not at all clear from those instructions, as I was attempting to follow them when I encountered this issue. In any case, I was able to continue by logging in to ESET Home and renaming the existing device, then removing that one after installation completed.
