zojs 1 Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Greetings, I know that the updates for ESET Smart Security are transfered via HTTP, however they are signed and man-in-the-middle are therefore prevented. However I could not find info encryption/verification on LiveGrid. The guide for allowing ports on firewall suggests that LiveGrid works over HTTP. How are the responses from the server verified? I also could not find any data about encryption/verification for LiveGuard. I trust your servers with suspicious files from my computer, however I do not trust the network. Are files that are sent to LiveGuard encrypted in transit? If so, what kind of encryption is used? Thank you in advance. Zojs

zojs 1 Posted September 9, 2022 Author Posted September 9, 2022 Marcos, thank you for the quick answer. I am glad to hear that the files for LiveGuard are encrypted. What about LiveGrid data? Is it encrypted/signed/verified in some other way? Zojs New_Style_xd 1
