Guest wybaugh
Since update 15.2.11.0, spam filtering in Outlook is not working as well as the previous version. Also if you click the ESET spam button on an email, it will quickly move the email to the junk folder then it returns to the inbox. Both of these are new behaviors. Link to comment
Administrators Marcos 5,273 Posted July 7, 2022 Administrators Share Posted July 7, 2022 Please carry on as follows: Close MS Outlook and make sure its process is not running. Enable advanced logging under Help and support -> Technical support Launch MS Outlook and reproduce the issue Stop logging Collect logs with ESET Log Collector . Open a support ticket with your local ESET distributor and provide them with the logs. Link to comment
Guest wybaugh
I tried this last night. The log generator created an 81 mb file that cannot be uploaded through the ticket creation. I then attempted to just create a ticket and the website crashed when attempting to submit the ticket. Hopefully it's something that will be addressed in the future. Not worth trying to jump through hoops that don't work. Link to comment
Administrators Marcos 5,273 Posted July 7, 2022 Administrators Share Posted July 7, 2022 The maximum size of a submitted archive is 21 MB. Please open a support ticket without attaching logs. A customer care representative will instruct you where to upload the archive. Or you can upload the logs to a safe location and enclose a download link in the form. Link to comment
Guest ascs
Same issue after last update. On shared inbox with other users. Spam-Mail goes to SPAM folder, and each outlook replication multiplies it. Mail is being returned to inbox and returns to spam as a copy. After a couple of minutes we can find 1200 copies of the same mail (similar to copy paste). Each mail’s subject is SPAM prefixed. The only way is to close outlook at all users and delete copied mails directly on server (thru web access). Then all users must open outlook again and constantly “empty” spam folder. Then it is the fire extinguished… until the next spam arrives. It is disaster. All updates installed, ESET endpoint the last version as well as web console (9.1) took place last week. we are exhausted and consider changing the antivirus program web and mail option -> scan modified mails option is switched off Link to comment
Administrators Marcos 5,273 Posted July 19, 2022 Administrators Share Posted July 19, 2022 This Quick questions forum is not intended for reporting issues but for asking quick questions. Moreover, the above issue requires creation of a support ticket and provision of logs to your local support for investigation. Link to comment
