Dear Sirs

Please help to check the update program can be used on closed networking.

if we select the function about "Ask before downloading update",

Is it work on closed networking (no internet service)?

 

PS. Our modules updates(virus signature) is that we manually update the virus signature to the local server,

and all workstations are connected to the local serve

If the machines have access to a local machine with Internet connectivity, we'd recommend installing HTTP proxy for caching of update files and point ESET Endpoint to it in the proxy setup.

If they are completely offline, you can download update files using the ESET Mirror tool and transfer the update mirror manually to endpoints.
