gavineth 0
My licence has expired and I want to uninstall. 1) Windows doesn't give the option, only "change". 2) When I try that it asks for my password but keeps telling me the one I noted at installation is wrong but gives no option of a reset. I'm now stuck with messages constantly appearing telling me my licence has expired. I know that!!!!!!!!!!
ESET Moderators Aryeh Goretsky 336 Posted June 9 ESET Moderators Share Posted June 9 Hello, You did not mention which ESET program/version you have, or what operating system it is running under, but perhaps you can use the option to reset your settings password to unlock the software and then uninstall it. More information can be found at https://support.eset.com/en/kb6915-unlock-your-settings-password-in-eset-windows-home-products-112-and-later. Administrators Marcos 4,243 Posted June 9 Administrators Share Posted June 9 You can run the ESET Uninstall tool in safe mode to remove ESET without knowing the password.
