ESET website says to use the img format to create an USB drive for persistence. The current version is I am using Rufus v3.17. When I boot the USB drive, I get the following error.

SYSLINUX 6.04 EDD 20191223 Copyright (C) 1994-2015 H. Peter Anvin et al
Indef Symbol FAIL: x86_init_fpu
Failed to load libcom32.c32
Failed to load COM32 file gfxboot.c32

If I use the iso format, I am able to create the drive successfully. However, it does not save my settings or updates.

This Quick questions forum is not intended for reporting issues. Anyways, since the cause of the issue is unknown I'd recommend opening a support ticket.
