Guest Howard Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 In a famous public online forum in my country, a user regularly shares a key for ESET NOD32 Antivirus for which he has supposedly paid. He prompts other users who want to make use of this key to deactivate the ESET LiveGrid system and the participation in the Customer Experience Improvement Program. I understand that this is an illegal practice but, apart from the loss of protection effectiveness of disabling LiveGrid, I don't know how to discourage this practice. I would also like to know if the privacy or security of the people using this key could be compromised by this generous individual. Thank you.
