PatrickHE 0
Hi, I have a couple of endpoints that still shows Windows Update available even if i have a Remote Agent policy to not report it and a ESET security policy to not report it ... How can I remove those alerts ?
Administrators Marcos 4,935 Posted October 28, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 28, 2021 What product is listed in the Product column for this alert? It's not included in the screenshot.

Administrators Marcos 4,935 Posted October 28, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 28, 2021 Please check the policies that are applied to this client. Most likely you have more Endpoint policies some of which enable reporting of OS updates and some other disables it. In that case I would recommend enforcing the setting in a policy where the reporting is disabled.

I made sure that all policies have windows update reporting disabled: I can also see the policy is actually applied to the client : But the antivirus still report it :
ESET Insiders rekun 42 Posted October 29, 2021 ESET Insiders Share Posted October 29, 2021 I see this from time to time when installing a new server. It seems like the policy to not show the error first applies at next reboot? Have you tried to reboot it?
Administrators Marcos 4,935 Posted October 29, 2021 Administrators Share Posted October 29, 2021 Unfortunately the issue will require further investigation. The settings seem to be ok. Please raise a support ticket with your local ESET distributor for further troubleshooting.
