ESET Mobile Security Detected TrojanDropper.Agent.ILH in Edge for Android

Recommended Posts

This morning, after an update, ESET Mobile Security detected TrojanDropper.Agent.ILH in what I thought was a website on Android, so I clicked "remove". It turned out to remove Microsoft Edge. Edge had not recently been updated, but Android's WebView had just been updated. Is this a false positive, or is there an issue with WebView or Edge? BTW, a side effect of removing Edge is that I have lost all my shortcuts. Very annoying!

Ive had the same problem too. I installed the Edge app on Android for the firtmst time last night and this morning ESET has thrown up this error.

Any tips on how to fix this would be appreciated.

As already mentioned above, update to the latest engine 15495 if not updated automatically to get it fixed.

I have the same problem only with the "Tinkoff Business" and "hh.ru" applications, the reason - "Android/TrojanDropper.Agent.ILC". Is this also a false positive?

I'm in version 15502 and still have the problem (see screenshots below)

What applications are detected with engine 15502?
