VyacheslavZV 0
On the new firmware of these smartphones based on miui 11 and miui 12, this ultra power saving mode has appeared, it is briefly described here https://ru.c.mi.com/thread-1882127-1-0.html - this is the xiaomi forum. In this mode, and the Eset Parental Control program on the child's device does not block its inclusion in any way!, the smartphone system leaves only some system applications, and also allows the child to add their own: i.e. games, browsers, etc., and the Eset Parental Control application is completely unloaded from memory. When you return to the main mode, you need to enable Eset Parental Control manually again. At the same time, the Eset Parental Control application itself is configured correctly in normal mode, all functions are enabled: service, auto-upload, access over windows, etc., power restrictions are removed, and it works correctly and reliably. Do the developers of Eset Parental Control foresee a solution to this problem? Perhaps you should block the exit by pressing the button from the control panel to this ultra power saving mode? Otherwise, there is no point in using Eset Parental Control at all. The technical support service did not respond clearly. They just send instructions on how to set it up correctly. But everything is set up correctly, just Eset Parental Control does not take into account the presence of ultra power saving mode in Xiaomi smartphones, as I also wrote to them. To which there was no reply at all.
Administrators Marcos 5,271 Posted April 16, 2021 Administrators Share Posted April 16, 2021 It is necessary to make exceptions in aggressive battery savers that some mobile phones contain. VyacheslavZV 0
Marcos , I wrote everything in my post. The link that you give is not about this problem at all. Please read my question and the description of the problem carefully. Of course, the battery restrictions in the standard power settings of the smartphone are removed for Parental control, and I wrote about this! VyacheslavZV 0
As I understand it, the developers do not want to deal with this problem. Although the solution lies on the surface-to block through Parental Control the ability to enter the ultra power saving mode of Xiaomi. Are users with Xiaomi gadgets not important and not needed by Eset?

Administrators Marcos 5,271 Posted April 20, 2021 Administrators Share Posted April 20, 2021 The battery saver is not a stand-alone application that can be installed/uninstalled from Google Play for instance. It's built in the system and therefore Parental Control cannot block it like other applications. Were you able to achieve blocking of the battery saver using another Parental Control or application? VyacheslavZV 0
Not yet, unfortunately. But your Parental Control application blocks, for example, the inclusion of the application window manager button (the left button on Xoaomi). Maybe it is possible to somehow block the exit to this mode from the Control Panel (curtains)?

Unfortunately the problem can be solved only by Xiaomi. Neither ESET nor any 3rd party app can affect pre-installed battery savers.
