Akhlan 0
Hello, since a few days, I don't receive my new gmail (and only gmail) mails under ThunderBird (Mac version), I have a time out error When I disable the POP3 check in Eset, the error disappears and I receive my mails... Anyone else have this problem? Rgds Akhlan
Administrators Marcos 4,935 Posted November 9, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 9, 2020 Since SSL communication is not scanned on Mac, you should remove port 995, 585 and 993.
Akhlan 0
I set these parameters and I don't get cool error messages anymore But now, if I receive a virus on my gmail POP3 port 995 account, Eset won't see it?
Administrators Marcos 4,935 Posted November 9, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 9, 2020 As I wrote, on Mac we do not scan SSL communication. If you save the malware to the disk it's likely it will be detected by real-time protection unless it resides in an archive.
