Warren 0
I'm no stranger to NOD32....I've been using it since Oct 2005. Lately, and not all the time, the Eset Icon in the system tray doesn't show up. If I reboot, it will. Does the Eset icon have to be present in the system tray to have protection?
Arakasi 549
Hello, No it does not. I think even egui is not needed. Try clearing your "Tray notifications cache" followed by a restart of explorer.exe. ( This should fix your issue when it happens, and may for future occurrences until there is bad cache again )

Arakasi 549
I recommend CCleaner to clear the cache if you're unsure on how to perform this task.

Warren 0
I recommend CCleaner to clear the cache if you're unsure on how to perform this task. I used CCleaner with "Tray Notification Cache" checked. I'll see how it goes. Thanks everybody
