gvlada 0
since I upgraded to ESET Endpoint Antivirus 7.3.2041.0, a few days ago, every morning, when Windows 10 starts, Windows Action Center spamming notifications "Spyware and unwanted software protection" and clicking on that notification leads to the website https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/18900/consumer-antivirus-software-providers-for-windows ESET works without problems. How do I get rid of this notification?
Administrators Marcos 4,704 Posted October 9, 2020 Administrators Share Posted October 9, 2020 What is reported in the Windows Security panel -> Virus and threat protection ? What version of Windows 10 is it? While I don't think that Windows would notify you in case of disabled detection of potentially unwanted applications, do you have PUA detection enabled or not? itman 1,538
Since this is a domain computer, I wonder if Windows Defender use has been enabled via Group Policy at the domain level? As such, it is overriding Eset's Security Center registration at the device level.
