MaouriceG 0
We have a web application which needs to interact with a windows service running a web socket server in order to interact with some hardware. We are noticing ESET's firewall transforming the Sec-WebSocket-Key value from a dynamically generated hash to a constant static string, this obviously breaks the interaction. We've tried turning off the firewall component, setting up rules, zones, and various other settings to no avail. The only solution appears to be uninstalling the ESET application, which obviously is not what we are looking for. Thanks in advance for any help!
