kapela86 10 Posted August 18, 2020 Share Posted August 18, 2020 Recently I tested Endpoint Security install on a laptop that will be used outside our network. Just for testing, I forwared port 2222 of ESMC on our gateway (to some other nonstandard port) so it is accessible from internet. I then created custom installer and in "Server hostname" and "Port" I put our external IP and that custom port. I connected that laptop to our mobile router (and disconnected from our wifi), installed it and it connected to ESMC and everything seemd ok. But one thing was weird, "IP Address" shown in Computers and in Details was not external IP of that latop, it was an internal one. I don't know if this qualifies as bug or feature request, but can you change it so it reports correct external address? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
