eset_deamon kills Microsoft AutoUpdate

As soon as I start downloading updates via MS AutoUpdate tool eset_deamon CPU usage goes to 300-500% and after a few minutes AutoUpdate tool ends up with a connection error. As soon as I kill eset_daemon everything goes well.

Any idea how to solve this, please? Thank you.

What ESET product / version do you use? I would assume that the autoupdate tool downloads updates via https which is not scanned by ESET on MacOS. Do you use default settings in ESET?

I am using Endpoint Security 6.11.616.0. I do use default settings.

So there is no issue with ESET uninstalled? Does the issue return if you install ESET Endpoint Antivirus 7.4.1500?

Am I able to enable firewall in ESET Endpoint Antivirus? I can't find this option.

No but there will be v8 with a firewall this year.
