RAID - No access on network

Recommended Posts

I have recently installed Win 10 OS on a replacement computer at home. The old computer was connected to a WDMyCloundEX2100 set to RAID 1 on my home network.

With the new OS install and reinstall of ESET Internet Security I can no longer access the WDMyCloud. Error message:

Unable to connect

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 192.168.1.6.

I can access the WDMyCloud with my home Mac and Win laptop when connected to the network. Windows firewall is turned off on new computer.

Any suggestions?

Does temporarily pausing the firewall or disabling protocol filtering in the advanced setup make a difference?

In Eset Network Protection section, determine if Troubleshooting Wizard shows a non-zero count. If so, open Troubleshooting Wizard and search for entries related to WDMyCloundEX2100 ; i.e. IP address192.168.1.6. Click on the "Unblock" tab for those entries and Eset will auto create a permissive firewall rule/s to allow inbound communication.
