I entered it in and started the download process it accepted the key but than stated I had to remove Trend from my computer which I did and it asked my to restart my computer. Please post a screen shot for clarification. Also I'd recommend contacting ESET LLC since the license registered to your email address is a trial license valid for 1 year which is weird since we provide only 30-day or 3-month trial licenses at maximum.
