Internet/Email not working

Hello, we are running Endpoint AV v. 7.1.2045.5

Having intermittent issues where when users log in.  ESET is trying to update and all internet/email is blocked.  If left alone it will not "fix" itself.

I have found disabling Application Protocol Filtering and even running ESET as an admin can clear this issue up.  Clearing the update cache has also worked at times.  Other times it locks up and I need a restart or 2.  

Do you have any recommendations on a permanent fix?  Thanks!

I'd suggest the following:
- enable advanced network protection and advanced protocol filtering logging in the advanced setup -> tools -> diagnostics
- change Dump type to full
- reproduce the issue
- click Create (dump) in the advanced setup -> tools -> diagnostics
- disable logging
- collect logs with ESET Log Collector
- raise a support ticket with your local customer care and provide them with the generated archive.

You could also try switching to pre-release updates in the advanced update setup and see if the problem persists with the latest modules.
