I also do not have "Pro", this product blocks the captive portal by default and I cannot figure out how to allow it. Go to any coffee shop or place that has a portal and with ESET installed to your mac, you won't be able to accept the terms of service because they are presumably blocked. As a workaround I end up having to launch Firefox/Waterfox to get that "Login page" dialogue in the upper right of those browsers. This is not ideal. I hope ESET can fix Captive Portal for all their ESET OSX products one day. Running Mojave, had this same issue in El Capitan and Yosemite.
