msfitt 0 Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 I am not sure how to stop a threat message. It says TREAT REMOVED A threat ( JS/ADWARE.REVIZER.E) was found when GOOGLE CHROME tried to access a web site CARDINALDATA.NET I am glad ESET found and stopped this threat I am getting 7 to 10 messages before I can x out the first message. How do I find what to do to stop this threat so I do not get this message from ESET?
Administrators Marcos 5,468 Posted February 14, 2019 Administrators Posted February 14, 2019 Is the site blocked even if you disable all browser extensions? Even if you launch Chrome without opening any website? If you use another browser, is it blocked as well?
itman 1,807 Posted February 14, 2019 Posted February 14, 2019 (edited) This has come up before: https://forum.eset.com/topic/14840-jsadwarerevizerb-malware-eset-fails-to-remove/ . This helped one user although one complained it did not: Quote In my case removing all chrome extensions resolved the issue completely. Edited February 14, 2019 by itman
