Is there any hidded malware?

Hello! I have been downloading this soft on my old PC. Now I have a new PC and clean Windows 10. And just now my colleague told me that this soft has some rdp or keylogger, but that's not for sure. Maybe It's joke. So I don't know should I use this program again or not. Do you have any ideas? Thanks!
