Hi,

1 ) After migrating endpoint (version 5.x) to a new server  and upgrade  to 7.x ,shows hips not enabled .

But in the policy it is enabled .  

What are the problem if we apply multiple  policies to a a group .

for example , policy1  has only  set password  

policy2 has  rules ( firewall rules ) for network protection .

In both policy (1 and 2 )  hips enabled

Did you have HIPS enabled in Endpoint v5? Are all machines affected? Does uninstalling EPv7 on one machine and installing it from scratch resolve the issue?

Hi,

Hips is not enabled on the v5 .If I install from scratch I can see it is enabled

Unfortunately, uninstalling Endpoint and installing it from scratch is the only viable solution besides editing a specific registry value in safe mode.

The issue doesn't occur on systems that had HIPS enabled before upgrade.
