Shades 0
We are currently testing Eset AV for Endpoint Security. I am looking to restrict end user access to any access to the tray application. Our current av solution tells them that it is handled by an administrator and won't let them access the application at all. It will just change icons when there is a problem. Can this be done in eset? Thanks! Shades
Shades 0
I should say I am trying to add this option into the package on ERA server end. That way when it's deployed it is already preset. Shades B)
Administrators Marcos 4,704 Posted January 10, 2014 Administrators Share Posted January 10, 2014 Currently you can only protect the settings with a password to prevent users from modifying the configuration or disabling protection modules. If you'd like to have an option to prevent users from opening the main gui after clicking the ESET tray icon, please add this as wish to this thread. The wishes posted there are reviewed by product managers on a regular basis when deciding about new features for future versions.
