Recommended Posts

After updating windows 10 to windows 10 1803 - April 2018 Update my ESET Security-Software didn't works.

ESEST not starts automatic or manualy.

Repair-funktion is not possible - disinstall and reinstall also are not possible.

How can I solve the Problem?

Try running the ESET Uninstall tool in safe mode and then install v11.1 from scratch. Should the problem persist, gather logs with ELC and drop me a message with the generated archive attached.

We have a BUNCH of machines where ESET won't start after a reboot.

Are they x(86) Win 10 1803 running NOD32/Endpoint?

64bit W10, up to date patches

NOD32 ranging from 6.2-6.6

Please post a screen shot of the main gui with the error that you are getting. The issue being discussed in our forum recently has been reported only on Win10 x86. Are Ekrn.exe and egui.exe not running in the task manager?

I don't have a screenshot of the gui handy but ERA shows this:

When you go to services, the agent is running but the client isn't.

I can start the service without a problem manually but it won't come back after a restart.
