Hi,

I saw the following warnings/errors during full system scan

C::kJ5yWGSD9v65JND6LKqTO - error opening

C::S2tU9sEVmpH7CDZbThs7fdvfx0z - error opening

Does anyone know what kind of files these are? I've never seen it in this format.

I'm using NOD32 v7.0.302.0 (I'll update after the scan, I promise ;) )

Thanks

It looks like an alternate data stream. Try this utility to search for ADS and extract them so that you can see their actual content: hxxp://www.nirsoft.net/utils/alternate_data_streams.html

7.0.302.0 is current, the newer version 7.0.302.26 has only EULA updated so basically you don't need to update.

Thanks for the response, I exported the files, scanned them and they came out clean. I don't know what kind of files it are but if they are clean I'm ok. Thanks for the update info btw :)
