Learner 0
Hi, ESET is blocking Google Chrome scriptInjector.js. Each time when Google Chrome launch, ESET pops up with potential threat found from ESET Endpoint Antivirus stating to clean or no action. When select no action or check the Exclude from detection in Advanced options, it is still prompting next time when launch. I disabled JavaScript from Chrome setting with no success. Please have someone look into this ASAP. Is this really a potential threat? Thanks,
Administrators Marcos 5,238 Posted September 12, 2017 Administrators Share Posted September 12, 2017 The detection is correct. Remove the browser extension which is causing the detection. I'd also recommend upgrading to the latest EEA v6.6. The one you use is Endpoint v5 which doesn't provide as good protection as the latest v6.6. Since this topic is already discussed at https://forum.eset.com/topic/13073-jsmindsparke/, we'll draw this one to a close.
