ESET Mail Security - exclusions

Hi,

Wondering if someone can help here.

On our Exchange 2010 server, ESET Mail Security is detecting a virus in the CatalogData folder, which is located in the same folder as our Mailbox Databases.

Each time it quarantines the file, it's recreated (presumably by Exchange).

I've noticed that ESET excludes the database *.edb file itself from scanning, but not the CatalogData folder. Should this be added as an exclusion too?

Hi,

you can submit the file to ESET as potential false positive (http://support.eset.com/kb141/#SubmitWebsite).

And of course you can exclude the CatalogData folder in the meantime
