xtronaltic 2
Newly installed Google Chrome 56.0.2924.76 (64-bit) totally lost its icon after opening Secure browser provided by EIS Banking & Payment Protection on Win 7. Probably EIS is not compatible with the latest version of Google Chrome? PS: I`m using EIS 10.0.386.0, updated Chrome today to version 56, this didn`t happen while I was using Chrome 55. xtronaltic 2
@Gonzalo Alvarez Thx for your reply. As you can see from this pic below: Btw, I noticed usually EIS will remove 'interactive group' from Chrome and created a new Chrome desktop shortcut without the 'interactive group'. I assume this is for the security reason. But if you know more info regarding this behavior, please explain to me, thanks a lot! Also, I think that`s probably why Chrome 56 lost its icon, not sure about this. Edited January 30, 2017 by xtronaltic
ESET Staff Gonzalo Alvarez 66 Posted January 30, 2017 ESET Staff Share Posted January 30, 2017 Hi, Yes, that is the last module version AFAIK. Regarding previous post on forum seems to be a windows time between the new version of chrome and the next module of banking compatible. If you need the banking protection my suggestions are back to chrome 55 or use other browser in the meantime, perhaps they are other options I don't see. To be fair, I'm not a Chrome expert because I'm not a fan of it.
