Phydeauxdawg 5
When a user types in an address incorrectly, I get a Threat Alert triggered for the incorrect url, containing HTML/Refresh.BC trojan. Example, I type in hxxp://www.eset5.comwhich doesn't' exist, I get the threat notice. How do I stop this?
Administrators Marcos 4,838 Posted November 7, 2016 Administrators Share Posted November 7, 2016 Check your DNS server settings in your network adapter setup -> IP v4 setup and change it to obtain address automatically or try using Google DNS servers 8.8.8.8 or 4.4.4.4. Also check the list of installed applications and uninstall any suspicious ones, especially those that have "Search" in the name and check the list of installed browser add-ons too.
