Are we speaking of optimizing scan log files as per my screenshot (or) ... as there's no ESET KB.

Do you get 0 files scanned even with Smart optimization disabled?

I disabled Smart Opt and ran a custom scam but still 00:00:00

Looks much like your sample.

I call it weekly scan and Smart Scan.

But the 0:00:00 still happens if I just click Scan.

Strongly suspect an issue with scheduling. I'll pass this along to one of the ESET experts that can further assist you.

Perhaps I don't understand what you mean by scheduling but I can push a scan button and bam- it's done at 0:00:00. Same scan in the computer in the next room took over 30 minutes and the same same scan on my XP computer took 59 minutes.

I guess I've been asleep for a few days but since about January 6, my scans on one of my computers take 0 seconds or maybe 1 second.

I have NOD32 on 4 of my computers but this one (my main one) is causing me concern.

A little about this computer- i5 3.3 GHz, 16G of memory and a 120G SSD.Windows 7 Pro.

I don't have another computer to compare with so I am at a disadvantage. My others have slower CPUs and only 8 G of memory.

I am enclosing some screen captures. The 93 second one is just before the trouble started.

If you can help, I would really appreciate it.

[Malwarebytes no longer runs scheduled scans]

I finally took a look at the topic and I see that at least my XP computer stopped scanning a while back. I will try your advice to get it working again.

 

This one Win7 computer is fine but I have a few others to check.

 

edit: Looks like the XP computer stopped scanning on 12/1/2013. No idea why.

I have Outpost Pro on 3 computers along with NOD32 v7 and I did nothing special and seems to be doing just fine here.
