    A client of ours is presenting this error in his MDM OVA and he wants it to disappear, since he does not have to connect any apple equipment to the MDM.
    This is important for the client because this error is affecting his performance report.
    Is there any way to hide this error?

  2. Hi guys,

    We are trying to load the installer to the EEE console but when trying to load it we get this error:

    We have tried to delete the installers that we had previously loaded but the problem persists.

    The EEE Server is in its latest version 3.2.0 and the installer we are trying to upload is 5.0.8.4 versión in spanish, but if we try to upload english version it works but not in spanish. We need spanish installer, can you help us?

    To discard I have tried to put my personal Outlook.com account but the result is the same. Could the problem be with all Microsoft accounts? or with the OVA and Microsoft accounts ?.

    By the way I tried with a Google account and that account didn't work either, but I didn't want to mention it because when pinging smtp.gmail.com from the terminal, the console could not reach that address.

    What solution would you say that I can offer my client?

    I think I found the problem and it really is not technical, the problem is with the translation into Spanish from Latin America. Let me show you:

    In the latin american user guide, you can see this instructions:

    Highlighted in yellow you can see that it indicates that for Linux MySQL version 8, the parameter log_bin_trust_function_creators = 1 must be added or modified. But it is indicated only for Linux environments. In the English manual this option is not conditioned to Linux:

    As I was working in a Windows environment, I chose not to make this modification, because the manual indicated that it should only be done in a Linux environment. Just to discard I decided to make the change and everything works correctly.

    Thank you very much for your collaboration and if you can please change the manual (Latin America Spanish) in this section as it may cause confusion.

    You can see the full log in the attachment. Im going to change DNS configuration on the VM. But as you can see the VM can resolved by ping the SMTP address: image.png.371f8ee0de2c093d1d0c111c380dda2c.png

    I have tried to configure ESMC with a Mysql database in a Windows environment, but even though I have correctly configured mysql 8.0 parameters it does not work. It shows me this error during installation:

  7. Hi guys!.

    I have tried to configure the SMTP server but it has not worked in any way, not with google or microsoft accounts or any, I have verified many times that the configuration of each one is fine, but it still does not work:

  8. Hello guys,

    Im trying to update all endpoints on my networks client but it fails every time i send the task. This is the error: 

    GetFile: Failed to process HTTP request (error code: 20014, url: 'hxxp://repository.eset.com/v1/com/eset/apps/business/ees/windows/v7/7.3.2039.0/ees_nt64.msi')

    I checked on the endpoints and they can connect without any problem to that URL. Then i dont know what is happening.

    Can you please help me with this problem?.

    For future cases where we must explain these records to this client or another, you may be able to teach us how we should search and find this evidence. Or if this is not possible, is there any KB that we can use to learn how to interpret these logs?

    As you can see this is a weekly report, then these questions are going to come up very often and it is not very practical to upload them through this channel every time.

    We have a non minor issue with one of our enterprise clients. Turns out that we have been exporting from ESMC a report that shows actions taken by EES when it find malware, but it shows empty spaces on that report as you can see:

    And my client is saying that the antimalware solution is not working.  We have told them that if he has not impact or issue related he has nothing to be worried about but it's not enough. He insist that it's an evidence that shows antivirus malfunction. 

    Look this is pretty important because the client is evaluating whether to stay with ESET or if it changes its brand due to the fact that there is no specific answer from the local ESET support or its answers are denied by the client very easily about this matter.

    How i can explain to my client? or is there a real issue?
